    Product description

In the Netherlands it is known as the Elfenbankje because of its stacked, colorful appearance. But it is not just an eye-catcher. In Asia, especially China and Japan, the Turkey Tail has been prized for its traditional medicinal properties for centuries. Contemporary scientific research from Asiaë confirms some of these traditional beliefs, which is why the mushroom remains very popular there. Turkey Tail contains phenolics such as flavonoids, but is most famous for the presence of polysaccharide-k (PSK) and polysaccharide peptides (PSP), which are being researched for their health benefits. With the Turkey Tail Liquid Culture Syringe you can easily and quickly grow your own Turkey Tail, thanks to the mycelium already present, which ensures faster and more stable growth than traditional spore solutions.

These items are further packaged in a zip lock bag to further protect against contamination.

    • 1x 10ml liquid culture in a syringe
    • 1x alcohol wipe
    • 1x sterile needle

    • Add 2–5ml to each liter or jar of sterilized grain.
    • Shake the liquid culture well before use; the Turkey Tail mycelium can clump.

    After use

    • Store it back in the refrigerator.
    • Dry the needle thoroughly before replacing the protective cap to prevent rust.
    • Optional: Use a lighter to heat the needle and evaporate any remaining water. Then let it cool before replacing the cap.
