With the Sterilized Substrate - 1200 or 2100 cc, you’ve got the perfect foundation to start growing your own mushrooms. All you need is a spore syringe or liquid culture, and you're ready to go. This carefully prepared substrate and the included accessories make this kit ideal for both beginners and experienced growers.

Ingredients and composition

• Sterilized substrate: oat flakes, vermiculite, perlite, and gypsum

• Humidity tent (grow bag/fruiting chamber)

• Paperclip to seal the bag

• Alcohol wipe for disinfection

• Injection port for safe inoculation

Usage

1. Inoculating the substrate
Use a spore syringe, spore vial, or liquid culture:

• Spore syringe: 5 ml for 1200 cc, 10 ml for 2100 cc

• Spore vial: half vial for 1200 cc, full vial for 2100 cc

• Liquid culture: 2–5 ml per liter per 1000 cc

• Homemade liquid culture: inject 2 ml of spores into the vial, wait 2 weeks, then use the entire vial

2. Incubation
Place the container with the lid closed in a warm, dark place (around 23 °C / 73 °F). A heat mat or heated room can help. Monitor the temperature with a thermometer.

3. Colonization
Leave the substrate undisturbed until it is completely white with mycelium. This usually takes a few weeks.

4. Preparing for fruiting
Fill the container with cold water, seal it, and place it in the fridge for 24 hours. Then drain the water.

5. Fruiting
Place the container in the humidity tent. Maintain a temperature of 23–28 °C (73–82 °F), high humidity, and some daylight. Mist regularly and allow fresh air to enter.

6. Daily care
Open the tent twice daily for misting and fresh air. Within a few days, the first mushrooms will appear. Harvest them in time, before the veil under the cap breaks.

7. New flushes
After harvesting, repeat steps 5 and 6. Multiple harvests (flushes) are possible — the second and third flushes are often the most productive.
