Rapé (pronounced ha-peh) is made with the help of blown into the nose through a special pipe. For self-application, use a Kuripe, for administering to someone else, use a Tepi. Ensure a quiet environment, set a clear intention and use only a small amount: about the size of half a pea per nostril. Blow in in a controlled and respectful manner, and then take the time to ground yourself. Cleansing reactions such as tears or sneezing may occur.
