What distinguishes this Maeng Da Red Kratom from the other varieties are the leaves that have red veins and a red stem. The leaf contains more than 25 alkaloids, of which mitragynine plays the largest role with 66%. Maeng Da Red Kratom is native to Southeast Asia. Kratom leaves have been used thousands of years ago for medicinal purposes, relaxation and psychoactive properties. Due to the red color of the stem and veins on the leaves, this Kratom species is extremely suitable for cultivation. The red color would ensure that the plant is more resistant to external factors.
