Inoculation:
Inject 2.5 to 5 ml of spore solution or liquid culture through the injection port. Always work in a clean environment and wear gloves.
Incubation:
Store the bag in a dark place at 20–24 °C (68–75 °F).
Colonization:
Once the mycelium has spread about 7–10 cm, you can gently mix the bag to speed up colonization.
Use in monotub:
When the corn is fully colonized (completely white), mix 1 part spawn with 5 parts substrate. Fruiting can begin shortly after. Multiple harvests are possible.
Perfect for Psilocybe cubensis varieties such as Golden Teacher, Mexican, and similar strains. Also suitable for edible mushrooms like oyster mushrooms, shiitake, and Lion’s Mane.
For species like Psilocybe cyanescens, azurescens, or zapotecorum, this spawn can serve as an intermediate stage before transferring to wood chips or straw.
Long shelf life at room temperature if unopened and kept out of direct sunlight.
