The Psilocybe Mexicana (Jalisco) Liquid Culture Syringe offers a unique opportunity to cultivate a special strain of mushroom that is rich in both history and potential. This strain, which differs from Psilocybe cubensis, requires specific growing conditions and substrates to produce its signature sclerotia. These truffle-like structures are notable for their high concentrations of psilocybin, making them sought after by scientific researchers and personal users alike. Cultivating "Jalisco" is therefore not just a scientific or recreational endeavor, but also a deep dive into the rich ethnobotanical traditions of the Native American peoples, and offers a direct link to their spiritual practices.
Professionally isolated and prepared under sterile conditions to minimize contamination risks.
Works perfectly on grain substrates.
Inoculating your substrate has never been easier. With a simple injection of Psilocybe mexicana “Jalisco” Liquid Culture, you can watch the mycelium network multiply and transform your growing medium into a canvas for the mushrooms to flourish.
Inoculating the substrate: Start by preparing the substrate, such as vermiculite and brown rice flour, as described earlier. Make sure the substrate is moist, but not soaked. Next, take the spore syringe with the Psilocybe mexicana “Jalisco” spores.
Inoculation process: Shake the spore syringe with the mushroom spores well to ensure that the spores are evenly distributed. Then use the syringe to evenly distribute the spores over the substrate. This can be done by placing small amounts of spores on different spots on the substrate.
Incubation: After the substrate has been inoculated with the mushroom spores, it is time to let the substrate incubate. Place the substrate in a dark and warm room with a constant temperature between 22-26°C. This will promote the colonization of the substrate by the mushroom spores.
Growth and harvest: After a few weeks, the mushroom spores should start to colonize and develop into mushrooms. Keep checking the substrate for moisture and any signs of contamination. Once the mushrooms are fully developed, they can be harvested for consumption.
