Mulungu originally grows in Peru and Brazil, it prefers moist and warm areas. You will find it mainly along rivers and in swamps in South America. What makes the tree so interesting to us, of course, are the substances that are produced in the bark. These are active alkaloids, such as eysodine and cristamidine. Flavonoids and triterpenes are also present, substances that can also affect our health. Those who suffer from anxiety, stress or have problems sleeping should try mulungu.
