This smart growbag brings together the two key growth media: corn spawn for fast colonization, and a coconut and vermiculite substrate mix for strong fruiting. The self-healing injection port allows for sterile inoculation, while the 0.2 μm microfilter ensures proper gas exchange while keeping contaminants out.

The bag consists of a lower layer of sterile corn spawn and an upper layer of coconut/vermiculite substrate. Includes a 0.2 μm microfilter and a self-healing injection port. Spores or liquid culture not included.
Inoculation:
Inject 2.5 to 5 ml of spore solution or liquid culture through the injection port. Work in a sterile environment and wear gloves.
Incubation:
Store the bag in a dark place at a temperature between 20–24 °C (68–75 °F).
Colonization:
The mycelium will first colonize the corn spawn, then move into the substrate. Do not open the bag during this process.
Fruiting:
Once the contents are fully colonized, open the bag to initiate the fruiting phase.
For subsequent flushes:
We recommend using a separate grow bag with a microfilter to maintain optimal humidity and reduce contamination risk.
